Shahrukh to sizzle with Shakira

It seems that after the reality game show ‘Zor Ka Jhatka,’ hosted by him was not as attention-grabbing as expected, King Khan has become quite concerned about the success of his forthcoming undertakings.

Well, the international gangster of Farhan Akthar’s ‘Don 2’ is up with some mind-blowing endeavors for promoting his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders.

Grapevine has it that Shahrukh Khan, the celebrity co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, is all set to make a rocking music video with the Colombian singer Shakira, for promoting KKR.

SRK is also tuning up to sizzle with the bombshell in the upcoming music video, the making of which will start only after the actor is done with his shooting for ‘Don 2’, in Malaysia.

While the celebrated music composer duo Salim-Sulaiman will be compiling the song for SRK’s forthcoming musical venture, prominent Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will be lending his voice to it.

SRK to promote KKR via social networking sites
With the IPL season drawing nearer, the Baadshah of Bollywood, who had formerly lost interest in social networking sites, is now looking forward to make the most of them.

Apparently, as social networking sites have become the most happening things in one’s day to day life, Shahrukh has appointed a group of individuals to look after the publicity of KKR on these sites.

Well, seems like SRK is going to leave no stone unturned for promoting Kolkata Knight Riders.

All the best Shahrukh!

Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly keen on working with Lady Gaga in his upcoming sci-fi fantasy film Ra.One.

Maintaining long hair is a real problem

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has donned a new look in the sequel of his film "Don", says it is a real problem to maintain long hair and wonders how girls manage them so easily.

"It's a real problem maintaining such strings of hairs attached. I haven't shaved for so many days. I have huge respect for women, but really want to ask them how they maintain their long hair," Shah Rukh told the media at the launch of a documentary his production house made on the 1960s epic film "Mughal E Azam" at the JW Marriot Hotel Thursday night.

Shah Rukh said he was waiting for the shooting of director Farhan Akhtar's "Don 2" to wrap up so that he could get rid of the wig.

"I wake up in the morning and have to set it. I can't take a proper bath. They had to be washed with care. I am really, really looking forward to the shooting of 'Don 2' to wrap up," he said.

"My daughter tells me 'Papa I want to take you for a bath'. It's a huge problem. No sooner than the shooting of 'Don 2' finishes, I will take out this wig," the actor joked.

Shah Rukh Khan is 'the busiest man in Bollywood'

Debut director Roshan Abbas has described his friend Shah Rukh Khan as the hardest working man in Bollywood.

Abbas is currently working on his first feature Always Kabhi Kabhi, which is being produced by Khan's company Red Chillies.

In an interview with the Times of India, the television host turned helmer said: "He has always been around on the sets. He is the busiest person on this planet.

"Even in the middle of that, he used to find time for my film. That's what makes him really interesting. He was there as a mentor in that sense, but he has not been a tormentor."

Graffiti, based on a play written by Abbas in 1999, is a slice of life drama set in a Delhi high school.

Shah Rukh Khan torn apart

Actor Shah Rukh Khan is going through the grind as he shoots for Ra.One and Don 2 side-by-side.

With him playing superhero in Ra.One, Shah Rukh gets into heavy costumes that make him lose weight. Unfortunately, he has to put on all that lost weight back on for his continuity in 'Don 2'.

It's this constant losing weight and putting on weight that has got SRK exhausted. But the actor says he's loving the process nonetheless, simply because the masses are going to be entertained at the end of it all.

However, with most of the shooting done for both films, Shah Rukh is breathing a little easy now. "He is working hard on the post production of Ra.One." The battle isn't over till the film is out in the threatres. Till then, Shah Rukh won't rest," says a unit member.

Shahrukh, Salman at loggerheads again

MUMBAI: Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan haven't been on talking terms since Katrina's birthday party in 2008 and it seems the fight will not end.

Imran Khan's wedding bash is indeed a testimony to this fact.
It is, indeed, very interesting to note that no actor has sounded apologetic about his behaviour and are firm on their stance of not talking to each other.

Aamir Khan's invitation to both the warring Khans meant at least a mere chance for the actors to bond yet again. But the actors were stubborn and defiant that it's hard to spot any chance of them reuniting.

Salman Khan entered the bash at around 11:45 to bless the wedding couple Imran and Avantika with brother Sohail Khan. Alas, his exit was as sudden and quick as his entry. In fact he was nowhere to be seen when SRK entered the premises.

The industry is murmuring about another loss of opportunity in burying the hatchet between the two. So, it remains to be seen whether

Fan spends USD 3,300 to meet Shah Rukh Khan

Mehjabeen Erum Alim, of Bangladesh, kept a patient vigil and spent a whopping 10,000 ringgit (about USD 3,300) over two days to meet Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan along with some other fans in Malacca.

She did realise her dream -- but the actor only smiled, gave autographs, posed for photographs and left, blowing flying kisses. Mehjabeen was told that he does not speak before shooting to stay within the character he is playing.

Khan, who is on a month's schedule to shoot a sequel to his earlier blockbuster "Don", saw the news of Mehjabeen spending big money on her vigil in The Star.

"Fortunately, he spotted us just as he was about to get into the car and agreed to sign autographs," Mehjabeen said, adding that she managed to draw his attention to the story in the daily about her wish to meet him. Khan autographed the news article for her.

"It is an indescribable feeling and I am so happy to have finally met him. I feel like I am in dreamland," Mehjabeen said after meeting Khan Wednesday at a resort in Ayer Keroh town.

Khan met her and seven other fans at the resort just as he was about to enter his car to go to the film location for his latest movie "Don 2".

Mehjabeen, 27, is happy, but not satisfied. She said she would still love to meet him again just to hear his voice.

"It was just a fleeting moment and he didn't say a word but merely nodded and gestured to us as he rarely speaks before filming so as not to come out of the character he is playing," Mehjabeen, pursuing her masters in business administration in Kuala Lumpur, said.

Besides taking home memories of the meeting with Khan, she said she was glad to have made new friends who shared a similar passion for the Bollywood heartthrob.

Immensely popular in Malaysia, Khan was conferred the title of Datuk, akin to knighthood, by the Sultan of Malacca in 2009.

'Ra.One' DVD to contain alternate endings

Shah Rukh Khan's next film will contain alternate endings when it releases on DVD.

The science fiction epic was originally planned to release theatrically with a number of climatic scenes, Mid Day claims.

A source told the newspaper: "Shah Rukh initially toyed with the idea of releasing theatrical versions of the film with alternate endings. But he soon decided it wasn't worth the risk and settled on the DVD option."

The actor is reported to have considered a range of possible closing scenes, and could not make up his mind as to which one to finalise.

"SRK has kept the making of Ra.One extremely interactive. He's taken opinions from experts as well as the layman and even his kids Aaryan and Suhana... However, when it came to the climax he was unsure how to end the story. Hence, the option of multiple endings in the DVD," the source added.

The project, which also stars Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, is expected to release at the end of 2011.
